Work from home is a lot more comfortable for lots of people. Aside from the comfortable feeling of working from home, the rates are high as well. There are a lot of advantages in working from home such as employees can save money and time for travel, no office distractions, more time for themselves and their family and so on. While there are a lot of advantages to working from home, there are disadvantages as well that we need to take into account. These disadvantages include home isolation, workplace disconnect, and disproportionate work-life balance. There was an article by Catherine titled 6 Challenges of Working from Home and How to Overcome Them which explained that staying active is one of the challenges in working from home.
Here are some tips for Staying Active while Working From Home.
Exercise Regularly
Working from home mostly requires an individual to be sitting in front of the desk most of the time. An article by Greg Okhifun Sitting Disease: Too Much Sitting at Your Office Desk is The New Smoking states that sitting has adverse effects on breathing, blood circulation, and posture, increasing the risk of several diseases.
To avoid these you can:
Block a schedule in your calendar for daily exercise.
Do morning jog, post-work jog, yoga, or Zumba whichever works for your schedule.
Also, download an app on your phone that can help you plan your exercise routine and diet.

Spend time with family or loved ones
Working alone in a home office feels like you are in isolation. You don’t have much interaction with people like friends and colleagues. Spend time with your family or loved ones instead. You have more time with a movie marathon, going to the park, or even taking a walk with your dog.
Look for an Activity you Love
Work-life balance is a golden rule in working to make sure that your brain and body are refreshed and your concentration for your work is much greater. Do the things you love outside your working hours like planting trees or flowers, hiking, painting, binge-watching, and more. By doing so it will help you relieve stress from work and be more productive

Spend Time Outdoors
While working at home helps you save money and time commuting. It also prevents you from spending time outdoors. Spending time outdoors helps you get fresh air and clear your mind. It will help you relieve some stress from work and is good for your health. It also helps you interact with people.
Outdoor Activities like:
Going for a quick stroll, jogging, and taking your dog for a walk.
Doing groceries, going to the bank
Meeting up with your friends.
