Work From Home: The Naked Truths
April 8, 2022
What was your job prior to joining TVH?
I used to be a customer service representative.
What made you decide to start working from home?
I needed to find a better work-life balance, be closer to my family, earn a higher income, and have future stability.
Tell us about your TVH journey:
Every new beginning is never easy. When you set sail to a new goal outside your comfort zone, you need a strong will and a firm decision. Strengthen your determination with precision, hard work, loyalty, integrity, and faith. I did my best for the initial interviews, real estate and marketing training, and client interviews. Clients declined me for some time, but I stayed optimistic and focused. I believed that I will eventually come across a client that will appreciate me for what I can do to help them grow their business even more. I was overwhelmed with the results, and I found clients that trusted me in handling and improving their businesses.
Your TVH Achievements (Bonuses, Incentives, Awards, Prizes, Purchases, etc.)
Despite only working for The VA Hub for 6 months, I was able to achieve these milestones:
- Pinoy Virtual Bahay Edition consolation raffle prize winner
- Big 5 Awardee, Pinoy Virtual Bahay edition “Promising Newbie ng Benguet”
- People engagement, can’t wait to see the next monthly activity
- New laptop for my partner
- New pc monitors and pc upgrades
- Stable savings account
- Travel
- Recent home renovation
- Encouragement and inspiration from boss Mika
- Never-ending blessings — recently, I found out that my partner is pregnant!
Alright, let’s get a little bit sappy and tell us your message to TVH:
I appreciate the trust and full support TVH has shown me in my journey as a virtual assistant. TVH did not give up on me. Instead, the company motivated me even more and believed in me. TVH is truly an outstanding company from all the rest and never grows tired of helping other virtual assistant aspirants. Everyone is friendly and easy to communicate with. Our Bosses, staffs, and everyone are hands-on and will always make you feel that you are a part of their family. I guess thank you will not be enough but still, I wanted to thank TVH. I am lucky to be part of this family!
Let’s give a push and gentle back pats to all our aspiring VAs, shall we?
Be a dreamer!!! Set your goals and put give your very best to attain them!
Rewards are just waiting around the corner! All you need is a proper mindset, hard work, and
determination. The road can be rough, and the travel might be slow. Always double-check and assess if you are going in the right direction and stay on the path you want to be on — you will surely reach it!
Have confidence, perseverance, dedication, passion, and best of all, learn patience! Keep in mind, “A man who is master of patience is master of everything!”
Looks like our patient and determined dreamer was really able to turn things around for the better. Rustom is a living inspiration to us all because, despite his numerous initial declines from clients, he simply did not give up. He focused on his goals, believed in himself when some others did not, and practiced patience.
Rustom’s story of success reminds me of the “ketchup bottle effect” in which sometimes, achieving our goals is like trying our best to get all that ketchup out of the bottle. For some time, it may feel like we’re concentrating all our efforts on one thing but we don’t immediately see the results. However, if you just keep believing and pushing, success will eventually flow in generous amounts just like when we’re finally able to squeeze out the ketchup from the bottle.
Just a gentle reminder, that if Rustom doubted himself and decided to give up, he wouldn’t have known that there were numerous milestones waiting ahead of him so soon (like literally, since he achieved so much in just 6 months).
You can definitely rely on Rustom to cater to all your professional needs while even offering you some exquisite Filipino dishes and delicacies recommendations. He may or may not also offer backend support while relaxing on the beach!
Hmmm, who knows? Maybe you’ll start experiencing milestones sooner than you think just like our promising virtual assistant ng Benguet, Rustom, and have yourself featured on all our socials media channels and website once you decide to #MakeTheTVHSwitch today!
No prior virtual assistant experience is needed. Here at The VA Hub, we value grit, commitment, passion, potential, and initiative.
