“Adapting to change can take time and patience; one does not make the change in an instant” – Anonymous.
Filipinos have been very good with it. We have always been finding ways to cope and adapt to a lot of changes. Only two months into Quarantine, We Filipinos already found ways on how we can entertain ourselves since we are not allowed to leave the premises of our own houses.
Quarantine has brought a lot of new ideas to us. Some were able to meet their fitness goals, while some were just happy chilling at their houses. You can always read a book, finish a chapter or maybe read a new story on Wattpad. Reading a book exercises the brain. Like other parts of your body, you can exercise your brain by reading, and it would also keep your brain from being active & prevent losing its power.

Another good thing to do while we are in quarantine is to find new hobbies, or if you already have one, take the time to master a craft or two. Having a hobby is proven to help mental health & stress reduction. Mental health is also as important as physical health. If your mind is preoccupied with an activity you love and enjoy doing, it would release tension & produce happy hormones.
One good thing that also happened during quarantine is that people became more conscious of their health. It is scary enough that we live during a pandemic with no vaccine, yet that’s why many people took the opportunity to exercise & eat healthily. You can also take this opportunity to eat healthier or go on a diet, or maybe not. As long as you are happy with how you are, that is more than enough.
A work-from-home setup has been the new trend nowadays. Companies allowed their employees to work from home for safety & health reasons. Not everyone has been lucky enough to have a job. Many people lost their jobs because of the effect of the pandemic.
One in-demand work right now is being a Virtual Assistant in the Philippines. It opened new opportunities to those Filipinos who lost their jobs & to those who are looking for new career opportunities. It is a great career where you can learn new skills & develop more.
The VA Hub Inc. helped many Filipinos enter the virtual assistant industry. We provide free virtual assistant training to aspiring VAs who passed our recruitment process. The quarantine period brought many changes in the world. Let us not forget to do things that would make us happy & fulfilled. You should not compare your Day 1 to someone else’s Day 100. Focus on yourself, and focus on your growth. You’ve got a long way to go!
