With the current situation brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, many have opted to work from home not just for the pay but because of health and safety reasons. For most, it might be because WFH benefits include better work-life balance, less commute stress, money savings, and, take note, customizable office. Yes, you can set up your own home office just how you like it!
Now, if you’re one of those who want to pursue a career working from home, setting up your workspace is exciting as you have all the liberty to be just as creative. Here, I have curated some work-from-home set-up inspiration on Instagram so you could have an idea of how to design yours.
If you’re one of the plantitas, plantitos, or plant moms/dads out there, well, you can get inspiration from your fave plants by surrounding your home office with your plant buddies just like @cosgrome, @keradford63, and @imtinayang. You can opt to put the small or medium-sized ones on your desk, one or two depends on you. You can place an additional stand(s) besides your table or hang some for you to accommodate more indoor greenery.
For others, they are more productive if they have a decluttered and collaborative workspace—nothing fancy, just what they need. Like @sprytherapeutics and @remotetribelife, they have their comfy chair, well-lit area, central computer, headset, desk lamp, notebook with pen, and a cup of coffee. Coffee! Ah, big yes to that!

Who says you can’t incorporate your likes and interests in your WFH space? If you’re into the pink-themed set-up, starry night or girly stuff, action or toy figures, BlackPink or BTS? Why not? Like @mami_unicorn_patit, @staygoldandpink, and @mei.kawaiiworld – the sky’s the limit. To each his own. Who won’t be excited to go to work with all the things you love incorporated in your home office?
One of my favorite perks of working from home is you won’t get stuck in the same corner of your house for the rest of your WFH life. Being a remote worker means you can work WHEREVER as long as there’s a stable power and internet connection. How great is that? Look at the posts of @ingramdigital, @the_prodigy_duo, and @jrnicolodeon. Out the seaside with the waters as your view, down in your garden’s grass when the weather is nice, or if inside the house – you can set up the bedroom, your sala, kitchen, etc. It’s indeed living the life!
