Content marketing: Earn as you write

“What separates good content from great content is a willingness to take risks and push the envelope.” – Brian Halligan, CEO & Co-Founder, Hubspot

You may be in a scenario of writing content, but, for some reason, you aren’t getting the amount of engagement, insight, or the search ranking you are trying to achieve.

No worries, you don’t go to that struggle alone. Some of our Virtual Assistants in the Philippines feel the same as you. But what does it mean to earn as you write?

Content marketing aims to quench the reader’s thirst for information, motivating them to click, read, or download a piece, and eventually become a customer.

To be effective in your content marketing efforts, you need to clearly understand your target audience, especially here in the Philippines, where age, gender preference, interest, and even race varies a lot since our culture is very diverse. You must specify what challenges they might be facing, how your service will be able to help them, where they would go to inform you the challenges they have and how your users can reach them, and of course, what kind of content would perfectly appeal to them- this is the sweet spot.

Provide your value. Another thing to keep in mind is that people no longer decide which to buy based on the service/product alone. Consumers now check if a brand would somehow represent their personalities. So you have to make sure that you do not over-generalize or stereotype your content. Here in the Philippines, everyone can access the internet if they want to, and offending them on content will not make them a customer regardless of whether they want to like the product.

Always be authentic. Back all your statements with facts. This way, people will remember you and trust you. You will build a trust that will make them your regular customer for an extended period. You don’t want a short-time customer, do you? We may put links to our sources in our content so our audience can verify the piece of information we share with them.

The bottom line is, our choices of how content can be useful is now very vast. As a Virtual Assistant, we need to be resourceful. Hence, it would be best if you considered all the possibilities to market our service/product and be creative since I believe, as a Filipino, these two are already innate, and we have to practice them and put them in action. Learn to take the risk and be the best that you can.

If you love writing and content creation, a virtual assistant job might be the one for you. With everything that is happening in the world, having a career where you can stay at home while earning will be a big YES. However, we need to make sure that the VA company that we will be joining is secured, reliable and legitimate.

The Philippines is one of the top countries where business owners from around the globe go-to when it comes to outsourcing. The VA Hub is one of the many virtual assistant companies here in the Philippines. The question is, what makes The VA Hub different from the rest?

The VA  Hub values our virtual assistant as much as we love our clients. We make sure that every VA that will be a part of our team are well taken cared of, starting training up until the time that they get their clients.
