Episode 10 : Battle of Pinoy Internet Service Providers

“It’s not about the money, money, money. We don’t need your money, money, money.”

That is but a few lines from Jessie J’s song Price Tag. With all due respect to this fantastic artist- yes, not everything is about the money. But most of us will agree that we NEED the money. Rent for some, milk and diapers for those who have babies, school fees for the children, electric bill, water bill, food, utilities, and the list goes on and on.

For those who are employed and working on a day shift, traffic is a real struggle. Not to mention the fare and the attire you are required to wear. Now for our friends working in the BPO industry, decent sleep is what they are craving. Just imagine the hours spent being stuck in traffic as you go home in the morning then have to wake up way ahead of schedule to allow time to prepare and yet again travel. Some may think of a good business idea for passive income. Hence, the question is where to get the capital? There are many skillful and talented Filipinos, mostly mothers who are hindered from working because of their kids. As a mother, being away from their children is a big sacrifice.

Because of the coronavirus outbreak, most Filipinos are unable to go to work. Many of us are afraid to take the risk of going out because of knowing that the virus is just sitting outside our homes. However, as Filipinos, many of us are thinking of alternative ways of earning money. Some sell things online, others offer their services, and most of us shift from working outside to working from home.

We are very fortunate because there are Virtual Assistant jobs in the Philippines where all you need is a laptop or a desktop, a reliable internet connection, a quiet room, or space at the comfort of your home and an incredible creative sensibility.

Here at The VA Hub, we offer Virtual Assistant jobs to Filipinos who can perform work inside their homes for our clients based in the United States. Here are the tasks you can choose from:

  1. Marketing Virtual Assistant – Since many people are not allowed to go outside, business owners took their businesses to social media and other digital marketing platforms. Having a marketing VA can help them manage their social media pages and continue promoting their businesses remotely. With your help, business owners can make sure to reach their target audience and promote the products and services that their company is offering.
  2. Real Estate Virtual Assistant – The real estate industry is one of those businesses who need help coming from a remote assistant. REVA tasks include Prospecting, Lead Generation, Customer Service, and Sales, which means having an experience in the BPO industry can be an advantage.
  3. Medical Virtual Assistant – Telemedicine has become part of the new normal. Healthcare providers are now embracing technology in terms of providing healthcare virtually. Medical VA jobs are focused on taking care of small tasks for doctors to focus on their medical practice and take care of their patients. If you studied any medical-related course for at least three years or worked in the medical industry for at least one year, this job is perfect. You must have a HIPAA Certificate to qualify for this, but you don’t need to worry since it is not that hard to get one. You can research agencies or websites that can provide HIPAA certification to those aspiring to work in the medical field, particularly in the US.

If you meet all the above requirements, we can provide jobs where you can earn way more than what you’re making in an office-based position in the Philippines. Plus, the stigma of catching the virus outside of your home will not be an issue to you at all.

If you are interested in applying, you can check The VA Hub’s website. If you still have questions, you can send us a message on our Facebook page, and we are happy to answer them for you.

Work itself is often tiring, and if you’re still going to add all the hassle stated above, well, that’s aggravating. All of us want a hassle-free job at the comfort of our home, especially nowadays, that safety is our priority. Knowing that a company can help you eliminate your worries about the risk of going out for work can be a significant relief. What are you waiting for? Prepare yourself and be ready to start your work from home journey with The VA Hub.
