According to Business Inquirer, during the breakout of Covid-19, 4.2M Filipinos lost their jobs, and 7.9 suffer from underpaying. These vast numbers lead Virtual Assistant jobs in the Philippines to bloom. To become a VA is not easy, you should have what it takes to become one. Some of you might think that a Virtual Assistant job description is similar to working in BPO industries. But to tell you frankly,
IT IS NOT!
This thinking leads a lot of people to become a failure of their working-from-home journey. I included those numbers of people who think that way before. As I own a Computer shop/Internet Café before Covid-19, my everyday life is working on a computer.
I thought my years of experience of being tech-savvy is enough to become successful on this VA journey. But no, I have made many accounts in different Job Platforms but never had a chance to find the job that I want.
My sister-in-law saw a posting from a government site offering free virtual training for those who want to become a VA. So, we signed up, and on our first day, I was amazed that we barely knew the job of a VA. After I graduated from that training, I thought that finally, I would make it. But that time hits me hard the most, and I don’t have any luck on landing a job because there are many competitors from Filipinos to Foreign VA’s.
“Why your work-from-home journey never works out the way you plan?” That is the question that I keep asking myself. To become a successful VA, you would need help from the people who truly cared for you. I was invited by my co-trainees before to try The VA Hub Inc. I was not sure about it since I decided not to apply for a month already. But I still tried, and luckily I got past the Final interview and accepted for their free training. They are the ones who will find you a client that would fit your skills and also your personality as well. The free training will expand your knowledge and skills. The VA Hub is continuously hiring a potential VA without any experience. So what are you waiting for?

Don’t give up on finding your dream job!
